Empowerment Pledge

Gratitude and Forgiveness
End your day with gratitude and forgiveness. End your day with thoughts of appreciation and respect for yourself, for your body, for your health and for your life. End your day and each day with forgiveness. Forgive yourself and others for all negative actions, activities and words. Allow yourself to feel forgiveness, begin to relax, feel the release, and feel well within. Begin to live each day with a mindset that will allow YOU to balance yourself mentally and emotionally.
Mental Relaxation
Take a few moments to just relax. Take slow, deep breaths... Slowly begin to calm yourself and relax. Breathe in and slowly begin to mentally, relax your forehead...., your neck....., Breathe in and slowly begin to relax your shoulders...., arms...., elbows.... and fingers. Breathe in and slowly, relax your chest...., back.... and abdomen. Breathe in and slowly begin to relax your legs...., thighs...., and calves....
Breathe in and slowly and relax your ankles...., feet.... and toes.
Close your eyes, relax and mentally feel the calming feeling of peacefulness and tranquility. Completely relax and begin to slowly mentally and emotionally release the events of your day. Begin to feel gratitude, respect and appreciation for YOU, your life and your health. Take slow, deep breaths and truly become thankful for your life and health. Begin to create balance within your life by practicing mentally and emotionally releasing events of the past.
Visualization
Mental Focus
Begin your visualization exercise by taking a few slow deep breaths, relax and calm your mind and thoughts. Practice mental focus. To do this, block all thoughts that come into your mind and continue and begin to focus. Visualize a small circle within your mind. Begin to see and visualize this circle. Continue to visualize your central focal point until YOU can clearly see it. Once YOU can see it, begin to completely focus on it. Continue to practice developing your central focal point. Visualization exercises help YOU to develop and maintain mental focus.

After completing your quiet period, review your goals, take a deep breath, turn off the TV/radio and rest...
